PRESENTER: Teri Gram is the Sales and Use Tax Specialist for HLB Tautges Redpath since 2003. Previous to that she was the with the MN Department of Revenue for 9 years working in the tax compliance area and was a sale tax auditor. At HLB Tautges Redpath her duties include research, consulting, filing of refund claims, return filing, compliance procedures, nexus studies and reverse audits.

OVERVIEW: The Minnesota Legislature enacted several new sales and use tax law changes that may affect you.  Most of these taxes impact business-to-business transactions, such as repair services on certain kinds of equipment.  Already complicated sales and use tax rules have become more difficult as businesses try to correctly apply the rules.  Terri Grahn will review the new law and its application together with exceptions and examples.
